Valentine's Day with Charming Lucy, pt. 2

Hello, fashionistas! On Monday, I showed you what I plan to wear for Valentine's Day. Today, I am tickled pink to have Susan of Charming Lucy and her beautiful daughter take over my blog for the day! In the spirit of the upcoming holiday, let's show her some love...

This week Lucy and I are linking up with my beautiful friend Stephanie, who blogs at White Coat Wardrobe. We decided that we would each style an outfit that we would wear for Valentine's Day, providing you with several options for this fun holiday. Steph shared her fabulous Valentine's look on Monday, so today it is our turn!
Since my hubby and I will be working, and Lucy will be in school on Valentine's Day, we will probably do something as a family over the weekend. We are big fans of movie nights and ice skating, so we will try to celebrate together sometime.
I chose a casual outfit, layering my favorite J. Crew Factory sweater with a polka dot top from Loft. I own this sweater in three different colors and plan to ad more to my closet when they go on sale. This is my favorite sweater! It is cozy, soft, and versatile enough to wear during every season. And I may wear that gold tassel necklace every day for the rest of my life!
Lucy is a huge fan of Valentine's Day and pink is her favorite color, so she came up with two different outfits to share today! For the first outfit, she selected a sweater in blush pink and paired it with a bright floral scarf. Both items are from American Eagle. We purchased them at a recent 50% off sale, and scored both pieces for $20!
This scarf is simply gorgeous!
She paired her favorite Victoria's Secret lips sweater with dark skinnies and cozy Ugg boots for a second look. She received a curling wand for Christmas and has been having fun adding waves and spirals to her hair.

We put together another outfit for a casual Valentine's Day evening out. I love Lucy's lips sweater, and we found this one on The leopard wedge booties are swoon-worthy! I hope that they are still in style next season. I have seen these booties styled so many ways this season and I love them all!
Join me on Friday , as I guest host the Friday Fab Favorites blog hop for Lauren of Style Elixer!! I will be styling a date night Valentine's Day outfit wearing a skirt from Preppy Pink Shop!

Thanks for sharing your style with us, Susan! Be sure to follow along via Bloglovin'FacebookTwitter, and Instagram!

  1. Thank you for having us Steph! We had a great time coming up with these fun outfits! Blessings! Susan

  2. Like mother like daughter - you are both just adorable. Susan, your outfit is my kind of Valentine's outfit! We always see magazines and people showing glamorous sleeveless dresses but that never has fit my lifestyle. I'd much rather go to a movie and spend time with family. Lucy has great style too!
