Whew. What a week! First and foremost, I want to wish my little sister, Nattie, a happy 15th (WHAT?!) birthday! I can remember the day my parents told me that I would have a sister, the day she came home from the hospital, and every milestone since. For 10 years, I prayed every day for a little sister and the Big Man upstairs certainly didn't disappoint! Nattie is my sidekick, best friend by birth, and one of the greatest joys in my life...it is an honor to be her big sister. Cheers to you, midge! I hope your day is spectacular! 365 days until you get your license!! ;)

On a more somber note, Adam and I have been grieving the loss of his uncle and grandmother, who both passed within 3 weeks of each other. It has been an emotional month for his family to say the least, and these past few days have been dedicated to remembering these two individuals. I have been blessed to have met Adam and his family, and this weekend has just reaffirmed what a close-knit, loving family that I will be marrying into. Please continue to pray for him and his family in the coming days and weeks.

Last week I wrapped up my psychiatry rotation, passed my exam (wahoo!). This week, I will move onto my first month of internal medicine. Again, thank you all for your prayers and continued support! I am looking forward to busier days and the challenge of interpreting labs, reading xrays, generating a diagnosis, etc. I am a little rusty in these areas!

Have a great week! Be sure to follow along via Bloglovin'FacebookTwitter, and Instagram!
