Hey fashionistas! I am finally getting back into my routine, starting with The Weekly Wardrobe. If you're new around here, each week, I post my daily outfits from my Instagram, with details to the exact or similar pieces that I wore. One of my passions is professional fashion, and I love to work with what's already in my closet and find new ways to wear my existing pieces!

These past two weeks, I have been in my psychology rotation at the Veterans Hospital. It has been an eye-opening experience that is challenging me both emotionally and academically. Seeing that these men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country are still in such unfortunate situations is really heartbreaking. The verses that I keep turning to this week are these...

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

"My heart says of you, 'Seek his face', Your face, Lord, I will seek." - Psalm 27:8

The biggest challenge that I have faced so far is finding the appropriate amount of empathetic interaction with my patients. I continue to pray that I can encourage these men and women in the way that He sees fit.

Thanks for reading, and have a great week! Be sure to follow along via Bloglovin', Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

  1. I did not know you were at the VA! I had my psych rotation at a state hospital - on the forensics unit. It was horrifying! The VA would be a whole different ball game. I hope that it is going well and I am veteran that you are making a positive impact on your patients. I love your polka dots and plaid. You always have cute denim. Any tips for finding great jeans? Mine never seem to fit well in all areas. Also - I have a new, cuter button. Feel free to replace my old one with the new cute one! Have a blessed week! Susan
