To start, I have wanted to be a Physician Assistant for as long as I can remember. My father is a physician, and I grew up immersed in medicine and developed a love for science at an early age. I love that my future profession encompasses science and service - I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be! I still remember finding out that I was accepted to my first choice program like it was yesterday...it is hard to believe that I start my first rotation tomorrow!
And that is where the blog comes into play. As much as I love the medical field, I equally love fashion, style, textiles, sparkle, shoes, shopping, etc.! My mom is a seamstress/costume/interior designer and has toted me along on her fabric store runs for as long as I can remember. If you're following the story, you might think that this blog was inevitable!

I am excited to enter the work force and earn my "young professional" badge, but my philosophy is probably a little different than some of my blogging peers:
1. I am a grad student and am on a VERY conservative budget...one that does not allow for much personal shopping. Hello, Closet Remixing!!
2. The medical profession requires conservative and practical wardrobe choices at times. "Boring" you say?! STAY TUNED...
I have been so blessed to have made some great friends during this short but amazing journey thus far, and I CAN'T WAIT to see what else is in store! Thank you all for inspiring me, and for your love and support!
SPECIAL THANKS to my new friends Whitley and Yasi for their invaluable advice & pointers, and to my sweet friend Sarah M. for her amazing photography skills!!
