First of all, THANK YOU all for making my birthday such a special day! Thank you for your calls, texts, emails and comments...I appreciate each and every one of you. The fun doesn't stop there though - we have two more days of fabulous giveaways!

Thanks to Sheridan for sharing Roxy Girl with me for some photos and frolicking! |
Skirt: c/o Sincerely Jenna Marie
Shoes: Ellen Tracy via Burlington
Necklace: c/o Glint & Gleam (other color option)
Bracelets: Sage K & Co. and my grandmother's
Clutch: c/o Bluetique
Nails: Smokin' Hot by Essie
When I first stepped out in this outfit, Adam asked me if I was going to a funeral. Fashion fail. I quickly taught him that black-on-black is classic, and allows my two accessories to really pop and make a statement! (In full disclosure, by the end of the mini session, he said that I looked very pretty and "wouldn't hate it" if I wore this skirt out to date night...haha silly man!)
You should all know by now that I am a sucker for a great statement necklace, and this one from Glint & Gleam is no exception! As much as I love scarves, I find that they can be hard to wear with my white coat, stethoscope, name badge, etc. Statement necklaces tend to be much less bulky, and don't hold onto germs like fabric scarves do!

The other head-turning piece to this ensemble is the monogram clutch from Bluetique. I mean...it's pink and it's monogrammed. GET IN MY CLOSET!! I love that it has a chain to wear as a crossbody, or you can carry it as a clutch. And even better news: one of you will win one! The Bluetique girls will give you your choice of thread color to make it even more personal. The giveaway will run through Wednesday, November 13 at 11:59pm EST, and is open to residents of the US and Canada. Thanks for reading, and good luck!!

I think you nailed it with the black- I might go for black cigarette pants with the pop of pink!

Relaxed look: dark skinnies and white J Crew painter top with a navy or black blazer :) xoxo
ReplyDeletePerfect for a casual outfit (like jeans/blouse) & also more "fancy" looks like a sparkly dress. :)
ReplyDeleteDress and cowboy boots! Perfect look for a home football game. That purse would be perfect since they don't let large bags into stadiums. Also, happy belated bday!!!
