My heart is full as I write this post! I am so happy that I was reunited with my main squeeze, Adam, after two weeks of being apart. Between school, my trip home, and his job taking him out of town, it was a long 12 days! We had an action packed weekend too! Saturday had us bouncing between the horse track for some tailgating and races, and the banquet later that evening. How handsome is he?! In all the time we have been dating, I have never seen him in a suit. I would like to dedicate my first ever "Man Crush Monday", to my own studly man! ;)

On Sunday, we went golfing. And by "we", I mean Adam golfed and I rode along and handed him his putter or pulled the flags. The weather was gorgeous, the quiet time was much needed, and he even wore black and yellow for STEELER SUNDAY!! Be still my heart. He is a man of few words, which is fine because his actions speak louder anyways. I so appreciate his unwaivering love and support as I navigate the ups-and-downs of clinical year. I probably use up his patience on a daily basis with my stress-ball energy, tears, and unnecessarily graphic stories of patient encounters. Adam, if you're reading this, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for choosing to be on this journey with me. I love you!

How do you cut out time for your significant other in the midst of a busy schedule?

  2. What a beautiful couple! I am loving your cute golf outfit! I am sure there was no one on that course as adorable as you!! And I love the green polka dot sweater from J Crew! You simply have good taste! It is really difficult to carve out time for your husband/boyfriend. We are certainly not shining examples of doing that! We own a business and are both totally dedicated to our daughter. We work together, but that is NOT quality time! We recently started to take 30 minutes and take a walk on Sat morning with our dogs. It is not a lot - but it has given us time to chat and hang out - very important. Keep working at it! We like to work out together too! I am e mailing you back today!! Susan
