I am a firm believer that chambray and leopard are neutrals, and this outfit is a beautiful marriage of two of my favorites. Add pearls and you have a "triple threat" kind of outfit! I love this dress and can see it getting a lot of wear this fall as a dress on its own, disguised as a pencil skirt, or layered over my button down shirts, like I have it styled here.
On a separate note, I am so proud of my beau lately! Not only is he totally excelling at his new job, but he has also been exercising a more creative side lately. However, we are still working to develop his understanding of fashion-forward concepts :) when I asked him what he thought of this dress, he told me that he didn't think that leopard and heels were appropriate for work. Or at least the work that I do...bless his heart! What do you all think? Is leopard office-appropriate? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I was once told my outfit was inappropriate. I was wearing a leopard dress, opaque tights and black heels.... the dress was a crew neck, 3/4 sleeve that went to my knee - which is as conservative as you can get. Not sure how I was inappropriate. People have opinions; don't let their opinions influence your style. :)

I couldn't agree more about chambray and leopard being neutrals! What don't they go with? I'm seeing so many people layering a dress or shirt over their leopard tops.. I need to give this look a try! Love how you styled this outfit. Visiting via the linkup!
