I got a chance to get to know one of the receptionists a little better today, and she told me that she often prays with her patients. For those of you that don't know, I was brought up in a Christian home, and my dad owned a Christian-based, private family practice for many years. It made me feel so comfortable and at peace to know that I am surrounded by a group of Christ-following people this month!
Besides being Christian-based, the clinic that I am at this month is fairly casual. One of the doctors even wears open toe sandals! Although I will not be exposing my toes anytime soon (I desperately need a pedicure!), I am looking forward to working some colored jeans into rotation as the weather continues to cool off!

I am so happy you like your Family Med rotation and that you have such an awesome, Christian environment to work in!
ReplyDeleteLove you girlie, and I am loving the chevron and coral together!

Cheers on the positive environment! That is such a blessing. Must say I envy you that. My boss is about as negative, mean, and unethical as can be (and shockingly he is an elder at a church!). It's so disheartening. :( On a happier note, I love the chevron and colored pants together....such a fun look!

Ahhh I'm jealous of your environment. Suffice to say, this is going to be a rough month for me. I have yet to find a great 9-5 rotation! Haha! Hopefully soon. It's such a blessing to be in a Christian environment too! I loved that about my ER last month... they were a Catholic hospital too! You look lovely girl.
